The International Foundation Year provides students with an opportunity to progress to the first year of specific undergraduate degree courses at the University of Bath. You will need to choose your progression degree when you apply to the International Foundation Year.

If you study hard and achieve the required progression grades at the end of the year, you are guaranteed automatic progression to Year 1 of your chosen degree.

For the most up-to-date information about your chosen target degree, please visit the University of Bath website.

A small number of Bath degrees (such as BSc Architecture) are not available to IFY students, and some others have special conditions. For BSc Psychology, only the 3-year option (without placement) is available. Please check with Bath College for further details.

*Please note that the Maths portions of these programmes are taught in the Maths Department hence similar grade criteria apply.

**Please note, there is currently no visa provision for pre-registration training for international students in Pharmacy. Completion of a pre-registration year is essential to allow a student to register with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) and therefore become a qualified pharmacist in the UK. A UK pharmacy degree (alone) may not be recognised by other countries pharmacy professional bodies.
Further information on this issue will be given to you by the college recruitment team.
