Studying in another country is not just about going to classes. It is also about learning the culture, seeing the country and meeting new friends. To help you settle in and really make the most of your time in the UK, Bath College organises a variety of activities and visits over the year.

As an international student you can join in all events at the college, and you will also find a comprehensive programme of activities arranged just for the international community. You will also have the opportunity to attend department open days at the University of Bath, and to go on trips with your fellow students.

Students’ Union

You will be a member of Bath College Students’ Union (SU) which represents all students.

Social Events

The SU is committed to ensuring international students take part in as many social events as possible so that you quickly feel you belong.

The Union also represents the views of students, making sure your voice is heard.

Students’ Union Card

You will be given a SU card which will give you discounts in a variety of shops, hair and beauty salons and restaurants too.

Sports activities

There are a wide range of sports clubs to join, at college or in the local area. Students regularly compete at local and national levels in sports such as athletics, volleyball, football, rugby, hockey, tennis, golf and Tae Kwondo.
