Bath College City Centre Campus is located in the city centre a short walk from both the train station and bus station.

 

By Road

 

Sat Nav

 

If you are using a Sat Nav to get to the College, our BA1 1UP postcode will take you to Corn Street at the back of the College. As you reach the back of the College, there is an NCP carpark on the right. This is the nearest place to park. For alternative parking, please see VisitBath.

 

Park and Ride Services

 

Bath benefits from a regular park and ride service from Lansdown, Odd Down and Newbridge. Services run every 15 minutes into the city centre and the College is within easy walking distance of each drop-off point. Please see map below which indicates the city centre drop-off points in relation to the College. Please click here for locations of park and ride services including postcodes for your GPS. You can find current Park & Ride timetables and fares on the council website.


 

By Rail

 

Bath Spa Railway station is within easy walking distance of the College. Bath Spa is a mainline station with regular services from London and Bristol. Please see map below which indicates the railway station in relation to the College. National Rail enquiries will give you times of trains and fares.

 

Fares & Times

 

A young person’s rail card is available at £30; this offers 1/3 off all rail travel after 10am. If you travel before 10 and the cost of your travel is £12 or more the 1/3 off discount also applied.

 

If you have an NUS Extra card, you can get 11% off the cost of your railcard, as well as discounts in many shops and restaurants. Visit the NUS website to find out more.

 

From Frome – on average every 40 minutes

From Chippenham – every 30 minutes

From Bristol Temple Meads – every 20-30 minutes

From London Paddington – every 30 minutes

Scholar season tickets

These are termly train passes available between your nearest train station to Bath Spa. They are valid for 1 term between Monday and Friday.

From 2017 the college will be running a bus route from the Chew Valley area into Bath.

The First Bus Company offer reduced student bus passes. You can show your College ID card on the bus and receive a 30% discount or if you buy your pass from the College Shop, you will get a 10% discount to the prices available from the bus station.

 

There are 4 different types of bus passes:

  • If you live in Bath then the Bath bus pass is a cheap travel option for you.
  • There are 2 zones available Bath Inner and Bath outer:

 

College shop prices: Bath inner zone weekly – £10.71. Bath outer zone weekly – £15.03 Bath inner zone monthly – £41.58. Bath outer zone monthly – £54.45

By Air

 

Bath’s nearest airport is Bristol Airport which supports many European destinations. Bristol Airport is 20 miles (32 km) from the College, a journey which will take approx 45 minutes depending upon traffic.

Twerton Adult Community Learning Centre – The Hub

The Twerton Learning Centre has no parking facilities. There are a few places in the lay-by adjacent to the centre.

 


 

By Car

 

We have lots of free on-site car parking, including parking for students with disabilities.

From Bath Take the A367 signposted to Radstock, stay on this road and it will bring you straight into Radstock, at the double roundabout go straight over, continue up the hill and at the top, located on the left, is Bath College.

 

From Bristol Join A37 signposted towards Wells. Stay on this road until you reach Farrington Gurney, at the traffic lights turn left. Continue on this road (approx 3miles) past Tesco, straight across 3 roundabouts, follow the road past Centurion Coaches, along a sharp bend to the right; at next roundabout turn left, continue on this road until you reach a double roundabout, turn right up the hill past Radco, continue up the hill and at the top on the left is the entrance to Bath College.

 

From Shepton Mallet Join the A37 towards Bristol, approx 5 miles along this road, turn right onto A367 signposted to Bath, continue along this road until you reach a major roundabout, continue straight over towards Radstock, follow the road past a petrol station and police station on the right, shortly after the police station, Bath College is located on the right.

 

From Frome Take the A362 to Radstock, this will take you straight to the double roundabouts; turn left up the hill past Radco, continue up the hill and at the top, located on the left is Bath College.

Join the A37 towards Bristol, approx 5 miles along this road, turn right onto A367 signposted to Bath, continue along this road until you reach a major roundabout, continue straight over towards Radstock, and follow the road past a petrol station. A little further up on the left hand side you will see Oasis Bathrooms and a convenience store. Turn left just beforehand into Wellsway Works. The Construction Centre is on your right.

 

From Frome

Take the A362 to Radstock, this will take you straight to the double roundabouts; turn left up the hill past Radco, continue up the hill and at the top, located on the left is our Somer Valley Campus.
