College days rarely follow a timetable as regular as young people will have been used to during their time at school.
Providing students with the best opportunities to succeed in their course is best achieved through a combination of taught classes, supervised learning in a Learning Resource Centre and self-directed study.
We will give students a timetable and indicate to them how they should use the time between lessons. We have many computers and a Learning Centre in each curriculum area, where students can work throughout the day.
From the beginning of their course, students will be given assignments and research to carry out in their own time. It is crucial that they keep up to date with these if they are to make the most of their course.
