Womens Football Academy players Mollie Cavaciuti and Emily Petteford have become football activators for the College. This role is a football leadership position in Further Education that aims to give young people realistic experience of working in a football development role. As activators Mollie and Emily will develop employability skills whilst inspiring more young people (14-19) to take part in football.
The role has a focus on increasing participation and increasing student activity, with specific targets around the number of new female players. Mollie and Emily will also be involved in the college’s delivery of football coaching sessions out in the community to primary and secondary schools.
