A: This depends on which course you choose to study. You will either be allocated 12 or 16 weeks but you can complete earlier depending on how much time you can dedicate to the course.

Q: Is it free?

A: The courses are free of charge if the Eligibility Criteria are met and your home address is in a fundable region.

Q: Can I do more than one course?

A: Certainly, up a maximum of three in any academic year, but you will only able to study one course at a time.

Q: How can I find out about the content of the course?

A: Course information is on our website www.bathcollege.ac.uk/distance-learning

Q: Do I need qualifications to apply?

A: Any learners between the ages of 19 and 23 must already have a Level 2 qualification (I.e. 5 GCSEs at C to A*). There are no academic requirements for any other age groups. A: Please email DistanceLearning@bathcollege.ac.uk and we will endeavour to answer any queries within 48hrs (excepting weekends).

Q: How is the learner’s course work managed by the college and awarding body?

A. Learners’ work is assessed by experienced college assessors and internal verifiers sample learner work, periodically. The awarding body, NCFE in turn, sample work as necessary to ensure consistency and quality standards are met.
