You will pay the 16-18 fee for your course.

You can also apply to the Learner Support Fund if your income is under £30,000, or apply to Care to Learn for childcare support.For more information, please see our Student Funding section.

 

 

 

I am studying a Level 1 course

If you are studying a new subject and plan to progress on to your first level 2 or 3 qualification, you will pay the reduced fee for your course. You can also apply to the Learner Support Fund if your income is under £30,000. For more information, please see our Student Funding section.

 

 

I am studying a Level 2 course

This is my first full qualification at this level

You will pay the reduced fee for your course.You can also apply to the Learner Support Fund if your income is under £30,000. For more information, please see our Student Fundingsection.

 

 

I have other qualifications at Level 2

I receive income-based JSA or income-based ESA.

If your course is eligible and you can provide evidence of income-based benefits, you will pay the reduced fee for your course.You can also apply to the Learner Support Fund if your income is under £30,000.For more information, please see our Student Funding section.

 

 

I do not receive income-based JSA or income-based ESA.

I am unemployed and receive Universal Credit, contribution-based ESA or JSA, housing benefit, council tax benefit or income support. 

If your course is eligible and you can provide evidence of income-based benefits, you will pay the reduced fee for your course.You can also apply to the Learner Support Fund if your income is under £30,000. For more information, please see our Student Funding section

I do not receive any of the above benefits.

You will pay the adult full fee for your course. You can also apply to the Learner Support Fund if your income is under £30,000. For more information, please see our Student Funding section.

 

 

 

I am studying at Level 3

Some of our level 3 courses are eligible for a reduced fee (please check this list for courses that are not eligible). You may be eligible for a reduced fee if you are studying one of these eligible courses and you are unemployed and receiving one of the following means tested benefits:

  • Job seekers Allowance
  • Income based ESA (Employment Support Allowance)
  • Universal credit because you are unemployed and required to undertake skills and training
  • Income support
  • Housing benefit
  • Council tax benefit

 

I don’t receive benefits or I’m study one of the courses not eligible for a reduced fee

You will pay the full fee for your course. You can apply for an Advanced Learning Loan to fund your course. For more information, please see our Student Funding section.

 

 

 

 

I am studying a Level 1 or 2 course

I receive income-based JSA or income-based ESA.

If your course is eligible and you can provide evidence of income-based benefits, you will pay the reduced fee for your courseYou can also apply to the Learner Support Fund if your income is under £30,000. For more information, please see our Student Funding section.

 

 

I do not receive income-based JSA or income-based ESA.
