Counselling Skills Level 2 Certificate
This Counselling Level 2 course you will focus on the development of your counselling skills. The course aims to provide a comprehensive introduction to a range of counselling skills and an understanding of the importance of using counselling skills within published ethical frameworks, such as those from the National Counselling Society (NCS), British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP). This course will also help to increase your self-awareness.

What topics are covered?
You will develop your understanding of how to support others with grief and loss, counselling theory and develop key counselling skills.
Who is the course aimed at?
This course is aimed at people who want to improve their listening skills or use this as a step towards becoming a qualified counsellor.
What are the entry requirements?
You will have good communication skills and enjoy working closely with others.
An interview is required, this will now be remote via a video call. Applicants for this course must be aged 16 or over.
What qualifications will I gain?
You will gain a Level 2 Certificate in Counselling Skills.

How will I learn?
You will learn via remote learning, this will include online lectures, practical skills, videos and more.
How will I be assessed?
You will be assessed through written journals, practical role play, a short external exam, written assignment and professional discussion.
What can I do after this course?
Learners may progress choose to progress onto a Level 3 Counselling programme or gain employment in a relevant role.

You will be sent an invite via email to attend your first workshops.

Decisions regarding running or cancelling a course are made one week prior to the start of the course. If a course is cancelled, you will be informed and your course fees refunded in full.
