Digital Photography – Introduction
This one day workshop will explain and demystify how to use the manual settings on your camera so you can get most from your photographs. You will learn techniques to progress your camera creative skills independently. Ideal for beginners and those wishing to refresh knowledge of their camera.

Manual settings including shutter speed, aperture, ISO, white balance and introduction to lenses, file formats and processing.

Lectures, practical exercises, group discussion, editing of images on Apple Macs only.

Where will I need to go on my first day?On your first day, please report to the Reception in the Roper Building at City Centre Campus.
What do I need to bring?
Please bring your SLR camera or Bridge camera. We can loan cameras for each session if necessary.
What else do I need to know?
Apple Macs will be used for image editing. A basic working lnowledge of a mac is advisable.
To avoid disappointment, please make sure you enrol on your chosen course early. Decisions regarding running or cancelling a course are made one week prior to the start of the course. If a course is cancelled, you will be informed and your course fees refunded in full. Please see Terms and Conditions of Enrolment.
