Painting and Decorating Level 1
This industry recognised qualification will give you the skills to work in both domestic and commercial environments. You will study a range of units which include working platforms, preparing surfaces, paint and paper application and basic decorative finishes.
From September 2017 this course will be based at our new state-of-the-art Construction Skills Centre at our Somer Valley Campus.
What topics are covered?As a full-time student at Bath College, you will follow a study programme consisting of a vocational diploma, maths and English, employability skills, volunteering and tutorial. Please visit our Study Programmes page for details.
Who is the course aimed at?
This course is most suited for people aged 16-18 who are just starting (out on their) vocational learning.
What are the entry requirements?
Must have completed secondary education with at least two GCSE subjects, preferably in Maths and English.
