Due to the Prime Minister’s announcement on 4th January 2021, there will be no face-to-face teaching until further notice. Following the DfE’s announcement yesterday (06/01/2021), the College has been considering the best course of action regarding January examinations. We have made the decision to cancel any examinations after 7th January in order to ensure the safety of our staff and students. While we can put in place mitigations on site and keep students and staff safe there, however we feel that the risk of travelling into College is too high.
If your young person has examinations or controlled assessments after the 7th January they will not take place. When we are informed of awarding body arrangements for alternatives, we will let you know. In the meantime, please ask your young person to focus on current learning and staying safe. If you have any questions around the examinations please contact me directly or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Safe Space will be open from Wednesday 6th January at 11am on both campuses. If you think you need it, contact your link in Student Welfare, Inclusion or on email@example.com
We will update this page of our website as we receive more information
