This was an excellent one day course and a privilege to be able to work with the tutor who has immense skill and knowledge. The day involved plenty of hands on paper making so that we were able to take home some paper that we had made, also the tutor ensured that she applied the subject to our individual interests. I would recommend this course to anyone who works in other artistic or craft media that may have affinity with paper or who just wants to try their hand at something new.

An excellent introduction to Japanese paper making. The tutor was clear in her instructions and creative. She gave us one- to- one help, encouraging us to be aware of and develop our personal style. Having assistants was particularly helpful as there was always someone to give assistance when needed. I was impressed by the time they had spent setting up the room and the amount of equipment she had bought along for the session. Fantastic ! I hope to do more. Thank you.

The tutor was very well prepared with a clear plan, activities were well organised so people were fully occupied and didn’t waste any time, generous provision of resources, clear explanations, enough individual help as well as group teaching and handouts to take away as well as inspiration.
