Course Overview
Enhance your sewing skills and techniques for clothing and textile projects. Building on confidence made during part 1 learners can tackle more individually progressive techniques and refine skills on sewing projects in a relaxed and fully supported environment. Developing design skills and 'Fit' techniques to create a garment with your own design touches which also fits! We highly recommended that you complete part 1 prior to attending part 2.
What topics are covered?
Further your skills in Machine stitching, seam finishing, fastenings (zips and buttons), surface manipulation (tucks, pleats, applique, reverse applique), developing design ideas, translating design to basic pattern cutting techniques.
