Part Time Qualifications - AAT Accounting Diploma L3

This course is for adults aged 19 and above.

Once you complete the Level 2 Certificate in Accounting, this diploma is the next step for your accounting career.

You'll attend an interview with a tutor to help us decide if this course is right for you. You can also ask any questions about the qualification.

Each topic develops your knowledge and prepares you for real-life accounting work.

• The different types of business, their legal framework, and the importance of professional ethics.
• The impact of new technologies in accounting and the risks associated with data security
• The principles of advanced double-entry bookkeeping
• Preparing financial statements for sole traders and partnerships
• Investigating deviations from budgets
• Understanding principles of cash management
• Understanding the legislation requirements relating to VAT
• Understanding principles of payroll

Classes are a blend of in-person and online. This way, you can enjoy the flexibility of remote learning and in-person guidance from an expert tutor.

Assessments are computer-based and take place on campus. These will include practical tasks to prepare you for real accounting work.

You'll gain the practical skills and knowledge that employers value through this mix of assessment styles to prepare you for accounting roles.

After you complete this course, you can progress to higher-level qualifications and take the next step towards senior roles in accounting.

You will need to register for AAT student membership to study this qualification.

To avoid disappointment, please make sure you apply for your chosen course early. Decisions regarding running or cancelling a course are made one week prior to the start of the course.

You will gain an AAT Level 3 Diploma in Accounting.

The full course cost is 2,880. You may receive full funding if you:

• Earn less than 25,700 per year
• Are unemployed
