Course Overview

This workshop will be run in a small, friendly, tutor led group and is suitable for anyone looking to find out what Excel is all about and no prior knowledge of Excel is needed.

Microsoft Excel is widely used in all types of businesses and is excellent for organising and sorting data as well as planning and performing calculations. It is also a useful tool for the home user.
During the workshop you will cover:


Entering and editing a variety of data
Adding and deleting rows and columns
Formatting the cell content such as currency or text
Using Plus, Minus, Division, and multiplication formulas
Replicating formulas along rows and columns
Using SUM, AVERAGE, COUNTIF, MIN and MAX functions
Sorting and filtering data such as A to Z or price
Creating charts and graphs
Using page set-up prior to printing
