Four GCSEs to include a grade 4 ( C ) or above in Maths and 3 (D) or above in English or a Level 1 Diploma Introduction in Motor Vehicle and Transport Maintenance and a Functional Skill L2 in Maths.
In this course you will have the opportunity to learn a wide range of skills including routine light vehicle maintenance, the removal and replacement of light vehicle engine systems and components, light vehicle electrical systems and components, light vehicle chassis units and components and light vehicle transmission systems and components. The course will provide you with the practical skills and the knowledge to drive forward your career in the motor industry.
Practical Assessments and online tests.
On successful completion of the course you can progress onto the Motor Vehicle Service & Maintenance Technician Level 3 apprenticeship, or outside of the College, you can move onto employment within the Motor industry.
Course related trips may be organised for some programmes, details will be discussed at the start of the course.
