The King's Trust Achieve Qualification provides personal development programmes for young people aged 16-25. These flexible and interactive units support learners in developing the skills and confidence needed to progress into employment or to other courses at the College. Nine units will be undertaken at the level appropriate for each learner. Activities and study include units such as: Enterprise, Digital Skills, Personal Project, Managing Money etc.
The Achieve programme runs from October to July to support learners to develop soft skills such as confidence and communication, and employability skills. This course also includes studying maths and English and individualised work-related experience.
The Achieve programme promotes a flexible approach, using relevant, experiential learning to support learners to achieve a range of personal and employability skills and gain qualifications. Learners will be given the opportunity to work together as a group on practical learning projects, which are designed to boost their confidence, improve self-esteem, attainment, behaviour and attendance.
You must be 16-25 years old and not in education, employment or training.
