Introduction

Bath College is proud to support the Pride in Placeinitiative in Twerton and Whiteway.

Pride in Place is a community initiative bringing up to £20million in investment to support improvements and opportunities across Twertonand Whiteway over the next ten years.

The programme encourages learners to share their views,experiences, and aspirations for the area through a short survey, allowinglocals to influence the future of their area.

Bath College recognises the importance of its learners’voices.

Many of our learners live, work, or study in Twerton andWhiteway, and we believe they can bring local knowledge to help improve theareas.

By inviting learners to complete the feedback form, Pride inPlace will gather useful insights from a diverse range of learners.

The survey asks learners about their views on the localarea, what they value, the challenges they experience, and the opportunitiesthey would like to see in the future.

Bath College supports social mobility, communitydevelopment, and positive outcomes for local people at every opportunity.

The college continues to work with communities across Bathand North East Somerset (BANES) and has established a positive presence inTwerton with an adult learning and ESOL provision.

The Pride in Place programme empowers residents to shape thefuture of Twerton and Whiteway.

Through its survey support, Bath College wants learner viewsto receive the same recognition as those of residents, businesses, communityorganisations, and stakeholders.

Every response matters.

Learners who complete the survey can help shape futureinvestment priorities and drive positive change in Twerton and Whiteway.

  • A prominent restaurant within Bath College’s City Centre Campus, close to Bath city centre and major visitor,cultural and commercial destinations.
  • A restaurant and commercial kitchen that are fully fitted and ready for occupation, subject to operator checks, statutory compliance and agreed handover arrangements.
  • Approximately 60 to 70 covers, subject to final operating layout.
  • The opportunity to create a high-quality, commercially credible public restaurant with evening, weekend, private-dining and event potential.
  • A partnership with Bath College that creates authentic training, work experience and employment pathways for hospitality students.
