Help with money

Do you need help with money?

You might be able to get extra help from the Learner Support Fund.

This can help you with childcare or course costs while you study. You can also apply for a bursary and free school meals.

A bursary can pay for your travel costs to the college, and you could get a free school meal every day you are in college.

For more help, email studentfunding@bathcollege.ac.uk to ask questions, or visit the Student Services at the City Centre Campus.

We can explain how funding works in simple English.

You will not get a refund if:

  • You leave the course yourself
  • You do not come to class
  • A course may stop for a short time because of things we cannot control, e.g., bad weather, transport issues, or short‑term staff absences (including strikes).
