If you care for an adult aged 25 or over with special educational needs and disabilities, this course will help them feel confident online.
Strong digital skills mean more independence.
This course allows students to learn at their own pace, in a supportive environment, to make everyday life easier.
Why should they take this course?
They must be over 25 and have SEND support needs.
There is no pressure to have digital skills this course helps learners feel confident using technology from scratch.
Every learner must attend an informal chat to see if the course is right for them.
Don't worry, this isn't a test. Tutors will discuss EHCP needs and next steps.
Carers, family members, and support workers are welcome to join.
Learners will attend lessons at the City Centre Campus in Bath.
They will learn at their own pace, in small, manageable steps, with plenty of practice.
Our expert tutors can give extra help if needed and explain things clearly.
There are zero expectations to be great with technology.
This is an opportunity to become more independent and feel connected online.
Together, they will learn how to use smartphones, laptops, and the internet to make daily life with technology stress-free.
And you, the parent or carer, will receive ongoing feedback to make sure they stay on target.
After this course, many learners:
Learners can attend multiple short courses per year.
This way, progression is always personalised at a pace that feels most comfortable.
For most learners, this course is free.
