Do you want to improve your English? If you are 16-18 years old, this course will help you learn English as a beginner.
You will learn how to speak, listen, read, and write in English.
Why should you take this course?
This course will make life easier for you in the UK. You will:
You do not need a qualification to start this course, but you must be 16-18.
We will need to see your immigration documents to check that you can study in the UK.
Before you start, we will invite you to an interview to help you find the right course for your level of English.
You will learn different topics in each lesson:
To help you study for another qualification, you will progress through levels. This will help you improve while you learn.
You will study four days a week at the Bath City Centre Campus.
Classes run with up to 16 students.
Small in-person classes mean our tutors can give you extra help with your learning.
You will learn in practical classes with your tutor and others to improve your English for daily life, studying, and work.
You can use your new English skills to study a higher-level English qualification.
If you would like to get ready for work, you can also study a qualification like construction or health and social care.
You will also feel confident speaking English in daily life. This will make going to the shops or speaking on the phone easier.
If you are unsure about your next step, you can talk with our career advice team. They will help you write a CV and get ready to apply for a job.
