Floristry: International Womens Day Floristry Workshop

Celebrate International Women’s Day with a creative and inspiring 3-hour floristry workshop designed to bring people together while learning the art of floral design. This hands-on session provides participants with the opportunity to develop practical floristry skills, explore their creativity, and create a stunning floral arrangement to take home.

Throughout the workshop, participants will:

• Learn essential floristry techniques, including flower preparation, conditioning, and arrangement.
• Explore colour theory, flower selection, and design principles to create visually balanced displays.
• Gain guidance from an experienced florist on creating seasonal floral arrangements.
• Discover tips for extending the life of fresh flowers and caring for arrangements at home.
• Enjoy a relaxed and engaging environment while celebrating the achievements and contributions of women.

By the end of the session, participants will have created their own bespoke floral arrangement and gained the confidence and skills to apply basic floristry techniques in the future.

Level: Beginner to Intermediate
Materials: All flowers, tools, and materials provided
Outcome: Participants will take home a completed floral arrangement and a practical understanding of floristry fundamentals.

To ensure a good learning experience, courses require a minimum number of enrolments to run. If the minimum number is not reached, we may need to cancel the course. We aim to give learners at least 7 days' notice wherever possible.
