Future Choices (CC)

We recommend an EHCP, but it's not essential.

If they don't have an EHCP, we may consider them if they:

• Have SEND or barriers affecting confidence or study skills
• Benefit from structured support
• Need help to build independence
• Want to prepare for a Level 1 pathway
• Need time to try multiple vocational areas

This guarantees the programme is the right fit for their needs and goals.

And there are no grade requirements.

Learners typically work at Entry Level 3, can join group sessions, and feel ready to build study skills.

Learners are invited to a friendly, informal chat to make sure the pathway is right for them.

Don't worry, there are no formal tests.

This is a low-pressure space where you can meet the tutors and review the learner's needs.

They don't need to be ''ready for college'', as the course will help them feel confident and prepared.

All we ask is that they feel motivated to move on to a Level 1 or 2 route, like an internship.

Each module is highly practical to build real experience and independence with purpose.

Every class is highly supportive and practical. This helps them build real experiences in hands-on scenarios.

Learners take part in group activities to build teamwork and key communication skills.

All group activities are calm and structured.

Class sizes are small to avoid overstimulation and build confidence.

The City Centre Campus offers quiet breakout rooms for one-to-one reflection and emotional regulation.

Specialist SEND tutors personalise every lesson, and access to the wider college is available under supervision.

This encourages slow, steady steps towards further independence.

Each lesson helps learners feel ready to grow in a safe, supportive environment.

What can they do next?

After the course, learners will develop confidence and independence to take the next step towards study or work.

Most learners typically progress to:

• Level 1 vocational programmes at the college
• Supported Internships
• Future Steps to Work (Pre-Internship)
