Graphic Design Level 3

You need 4 GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including an art subject, and English or Maths.

You will also need to attend an interview to see if the course is right for you.

If the course isn't the right fit for you, our tutors recommend the Level 2 Photography and Graphic Design or the Level 1 Art, Design & Media.

You will attend the City Centre Campus in Bath for the two years.

The campus offers the following facilities to help you build practical skills for professional creative roles:

• Studios for design
• Mac and PC suites
• Adobe software

You will learn through guided lessons and workshops, research activities, and local visits.

Our tutors welcome experimentation and problem-solving skills.

Tutors will also give demonstrations to help you learn key techniques and improve your creative ability.

You will be assessed through tutorials, peer reviews, and written assessments.

The mixture of assessments will improve your portfolio and practical experience while you develop professional skills for university and work.

Best of all, you get the chance to work on a live project with a real client.

This means you can add real work to your portfolio and stand out when you apply for university or work.

You can progress to an undergraduate course in graphic design.

The Art and Design pathways and levels are designed to help you gain confidence, establish a solid foundation of knowledge, and develop your core creative skills. In addition to a portfolio of work, on successful completion you will be awarded a nationally recognised qualification issued by University of the Arts London (UAL).

The college provides basic materials for the course.

However, you may need some equipment to finish your own creative projects.

Study trips will cost extra, but you will be told about them ahead of time.
