Do you want a job in grounds maintenance? This course helps you build key skills for a live job interview with a local grounds maintenance company.
You will also learn maths, English, and computer skills - all qualifications that employers want when they hire.
If you are over 19 or do not have a job, you can build practical skills and secure a real interview in only six weeks with the Grounds Maintenance SWAP.

All that we ask is that you are ready to learn new skills, show up, and work towards a live job interview.
You will attend classes at the Somer Valley Camus in Radstock.
Classes take place in our advanced, practical workshops, so you build the hands-on skills that local employers want.
You will attend the other lessons computer skills, English, maths, employable skills in small classrooms.

You will attend an interview for a live job role with a local grounds maintenance employers.
And, if you want to progress your career in horticulture, you can study a higher-level qualification with your new skills.
You may be able to study this course for free if you do not have a job or earn less than £25,700 per year.
