Entry Requirements

You don't need any experience or grades to take this workshop.

But we ask that you are friendly and ready to learn machine embroidery techniques with other beginners.

What topics are covered?

You will learn the basics of stitched textile designs and how to use the machinery.

Along with this, you will learn the key techniques to use all machines safely and effectively to create original pieces.

You will have a small portfolio you're proud to share with others after this beginner-friendly course.

How will I be taught and assessed?

You will attend small workshops every Friday, from 2 pm to 4:30 pm, for a month.

Every lesson is supportive and run by our expert tutors. This will help you learn techniques at your own pace without judgement.

What can I do next?

If you enjoyed this side of textiles, you could explore other techniques in one of our textile courses.

You could also build a strong portfolio of machine embroidery to secure work or study a higher-level textile or fashion qualification.
