This course is delivered in person in person at the Bath City Centre Campus or online. We also offer an in-person evening class at the Somer Valley Campus in Radstock.
There are multiple opportunities to take functional skills exams throughout the year. This course will cover the following content headings:
Once you have completed Functional Skills at Level 1, you can progress on to Functional Skills Level 2 or GCSE. Functional skills level 2 can allow you to progress into Apprenticeships, work or other educational routes.
We currently offer Level 1 fuctional skills and Level 2 functional skills.

This qualification is aimed at those who have struggled with maths in the past but now wish to work towards a formal qualification, either for work or personal reasons. Functional Skills Qualifications in Mathematics at Level 1 and Level 2 are for learners who want to develop understanding and skills in mathematics. The qualifications give learners the opportunity to demonstrate a sound grasp of the underpinning skills and basics of mathematical skills appropriate to the level, and apply mathematical thinking to solve simple problems in familiar situations.
