You do not need any English or art skills to start.

All you need is to be friendly and ready to learn with other people.

To apply for this course, you must be over 19 years old.

We also need your immigration documents to prove you can work and learn in the UK.

What topics are covered?

You will learn:

  • Speaking, writing, reading, and listening to English

  • Different ways of painting

  • Creating your own artwork

And this course will build your creativity and confidence to make life easier in the UK.

How will I be taught and assessed?

You will learn in person at the Bath College City Centre Campus.

This class will run from:

  • 9th June to 30th June

  • Every Tuesday

  • 10 am to 1 pm

Each class will be a creative workshop. Your tutor will provide you with all the tools you need, so you do not have to spend money.

You can bring your own apron if you would like to.

In the workshops, you can practice your speaking and listening skills while you paint.

The class size is only 6 students.

This means you get extra help learning English and art from our tutors in a relaxed space.

You do not have to worry about a busy classroom.

We want you to have the best learning experience even if you cant speak any English.

And you do not have to take any tests, so you can learn at your own speed without pressure.

What can I do next?

After this course, you will not feel worried about speaking basic English.

You can use your skills in daily life.

This could be speaking to people who live near you, asking for help, talking on the phone, or speaking to people at work.

If you do not have a job, this course will also help you speak better English at a job interview.

You can also move on to another ESOL course to help you get even better at English.
