Why study this course?
There are no entry requirements to start. But you will need to attend an interview before the course starts.

You will attend classes at the Somer Valley Campus in Radstock every Thursday and Friday for five weeks.
Here, you will learn in the Construction Centre in practical workshops to build real experience for real site work.
At the end of the course, you will complete practical assignments and tests.
This will help you build experience that you will actually use on-site.
You can progress to the full-time Level 2 Carpentry course.
In this course, you will practice more complex carpentry skills to prepare you for real carpentry work.
And after you complete Level 2, you can progress to an apprenticeship or the Advanced Carpentry and Joinery Level 3.
