This qualification is for learners who work, or want to work as teachers/assessors in the FE sector. It is ideal for those who have just started a teaching role, for those who want a short qualification to enable them to make career choices.
There are no formal requirements, but learners must have evidence of vocational competancy to at least level 3 in the subject areas they wish to teach to gain employment in the FE sector.
Assessments will be a combination of assignments and observed teaching.
