There are no formal entry requirements. But you must be aged 19 or over.

You'll work or volunteer in care and learn theory in class. This blend of practical work experience and knowledge will give you the key employment skills.
To complete the course, you must complete a mix of fixed and optional units to get 58 credits:

Weekly workshop classes will be held in person, with some skills viewing in your workplace.
You will join remote classes on Microsoft Teams to learn theory.
You'll be assessed through a portfolio of evidence to show your skills in the workplace, not on paper or through an exam.
After you complete the course, youll have the key skills, confidence, and knowledge to study higher-level qualifications or progress to a senior role.
