Why should you study this course?
Our tutors recommend a Level 2 qualification in beauty or a similar field, but it is not essential.
Along with a qualification, we also ask that you express a genuine interest in holistic health and wellbeing.
You don't need any experience to start this course.
In fact, whether you're a beginner or a therapist looking to add reflexology to your offering, this course is for everyone.
Don't worry if it's been a while since you last stepped into the classroom.
We understand.
Many of our adult learners feel the same way.
But like our previous complementary therapy learners, you will find you're more capable than you give yourself credit for.
It's never too late to start learning again.
Our friendly tutors are here to help you learn at a pace that suits you, make mistakes, try new techniques, and support you with anything that feels tricky.
This course starts 9 November 2026.
You will attend classes every Monday, 1 pm 6 pm, so you can balance the course alongside family life and work commitments.
Our qualified tutors bring years of complementary therapy experience to our salons and classrooms.
This means successful reflexologists guide you throughout the year and help you become a confident professional, ready to offer treatments.
Learning by doing is key in complementary therapy, so a typical day will combine practical work with classroom theory.
You will practice in our commercial salon, The Academy, to get a feel for professional therapy work.
Before you work on clients, you will work in pairs to build up your confidence and practice techniques.
Theory lessons will help you understand the science behind reflexology.
In other classes, you will learn the professional standards to sell and provide treatments to real clients.
Assessments combine theory and practical work.
This means you can prove your skills by practising real reflexology treatments, not just essays or assessments.
This recognised Level 3 Diploma offers a clear pathway into working in salons and spas at a junior level.
Or if you want to be your own boss, you could become self-employed or progress to specialised clinical roles.
You could also study another holistic or wellbeing course to offer another service to clients or secure a higher-paying job role.
As an experienced Reflexologist, there are many different career paths with high potential earnings.
After you complete this course, you can provide reflexology treatment as a qualified reflexologist.
Many learners start working full-time in a salon or wellbeing setting.
Others build a client base around family commitments and existing work.
And this can scale into a full-time business where you become your own boss.
If you would like to offer further treatments to your clients, you could study another course at Bath College.
Many learners also study Introduction to Massage.
