Would you like to help animals and get paid to do it?
Animals deserve better and you can be part of the force that creates a better life for them.
This T Level is a clear route into the animal care sector through work experience, theory, and UCAS points for university.
By the end, you will have the knowledge and practical experience to go to university or stand out in the job market.
Why should you take this course?
You need 5 GCSEs at a grade 5 or above, including Maths, English, and Science.
After you apply, you will attend an interview to see if the course is the right fit for you.
If you don't get the grades you expected, don't worry.
Our tutors recommend Animal Care Level 2, Introduction to Animal Care Level 1, or Entry Level Animal Care.
There is a course for everyone at Bath College.
A T Level is a level 3 programme, similar to A Levels.
But the difference is work experience.
As well as the classroom, you will complete a 45-day industry placement with a local animal care employer.
T Levels also earn UCAS points to help you progress to university or a higher-level apprenticeship.
You will attend lessons at the Somer Valley Campus in Radstock.
But lessons at Bath College go beyond the classroom.
You will learn at the Animal Care Centre and work with over 200 animals in a setting similar to real-world animal care.
Plus, our qualified Animal Care tutors will guide you through every lesson.
This will give you the confidence and experience to impress in your work placement or when you apply to university.
You will also attend trips and guest speaker workshops to learn firsthand from experts.
By the second year, you will have the opportunity to specialise in an area of animal management and behaviour.
This T Level offers many exciting steps towards your dream of working with animals.
