How will I be taught and assessed?

A T Level is a level 3 programme, similar to three A Levels.

But the difference is real work experience.

This course is a blend of classroom theory and work experience, split 80/20.

Alongside classroom learning, you will complete a 45-day industry placement with a local construction employer.

This is a chance to gain real-world construction experience to stand out in the job market.

You can't learn everything about construction in the classroom alone.

You will attend lessons at the Somer Valley Campus in Radstock.

Here, you will work in the state-of-the-art Construction Centre to familiarise yourself with a real construction space.

And you will learn with the help of our tutors – experts who have worked in construction for decades.

What can I do next?

You have many options after you finish.

If you want to earn a salary while you learn on the job, you could apply for a construction or engineering apprenticeship.

Or if you want to study further, you could go to university.

You could study one of the following degrees at university:

  • Civil Engineering
  • Construction Engineering Management
  • Building Control Surveyor
  • Construction Quantity Surveyor

And much more.

This is your pathway to high-paying, stable careers in construction and engineering.

Britain always needs infrastructure. You could be the person your country depends on.
