Course Overview

The Level 2 Certificate in Counselling Skills is designed to provide learners with a comprehensive introduction to a range of counselling skills. Learners will develop their knowledge of the counselling profession, looking at the role of professional frameworks/codes of conduct and the core personal qualities that enable competent counsellors.

Course Type: Part Time Qualification
Campus: City Centre (Bath) and Somer Valley (Radstock)
Duration: 30 Weeks
Age Group: 19+

The qualification is taught via weekly classes with an experienced tutor. Assessments range from written assignments, practical exam, professional discussions and a written exam.
Once you have completed Level 2 you can progress to Level 3.
This qualification is funded via the Adult Education Budget for England. This means that it is possible for eligible learners to enrol without needing to pay fees.
