
BIM (AutoCAD) Skills Bootcamp (22/23)
Course Overview
This bootcamp is ideal for learners looking to gain a foothold in the 3D digital industry, or to add new skills to your employability in your current role. It focuses on everything you need to know about Building Information Modelling (BIM) and 3D Computer Aided Design (CAD). The courses is designed to be at level 3 standard, which is at the same level as A-Levels, but it is open to beginners. Employability workshops, including CV and interview preparation and a guaranteed interview with a local employer is also provided as standard.
The course covers the use of three different computer programs, AutoCAD, Revit and Lumion. Throughout the course you will learn to draw house plans, draw in 3D, understand section views and elevations and use the BIM suite to immervse into designs.
