This Digital Photography course focuses upon developing and exploring digital camera skills and photo editing. Workshops exploring aperture and shutter speed, white balance, composition and basic image editing. Equipment is available, but you are encouraged to work with your own camera.

Getting to know your camera; Composing a photograph; Aperture, shutter speed and ISO; Using natural lighting; Using different lenses; Producing contact sheets; Image editing; File sizes and resolutions; Preparation for print.

Suitable for beginners and those wishing to develop their skills in taking and editing pictures.
Sessions will include: lectures; shooting on location; demonstrations & practical tasks; image editing on Apple Macs only.
You may wish to purchase your own lenses and advice can be given.
Please bring your SLR camera or Bridge camera. We can loan cameras for each session if necessary.
Apple Macs will be used for image editing. A basic working lnowledge of a mac is advisable.
