Creative Enterprise FdA (Subject to Validation)
The foundation degree in Creative Enterprise will develop students’ knowledge and skills towards the running of their own creative enterprise ventures. Students will learn, through practical and real experiences, how to identify current trends and opportunities in industry, how to create, promote, develop and run their own creative enterprise projects with mentorship all whilst developing their own professional portfolio. Students will have access to spaces and resources at Bath College to incubate, shape, and develop their ideas with a view towards making their enterprise an absolute success.

- Visual Media Communication
- Professional Musicianship
- Theatre Making
This Creative Enterprise FdA course is in collaboration with the University of Gloucestershire.

Who is the course aimed at?
Students learn through practical and real experiences, how to create, promote, develop and run creative enterprise projects as well as develop their own professional practice and performance. Students will be able to explore the wide range of creative industries including Media, Music, Performance and the Arts.
What are the entry requirements?
To join the course you will need:
- 80+ UCAS points from
- BTEC Level 3 Extended/Diploma or
- AS / A2 / A levels or
- Access to HE Diploma
- English and maths GCSE (full qualification) minimum Grade C/4
Mature students will be considered on an individual basis.
What qualifications will I gain?
You will gain a Level 5 FdA in Creative Enterprise.

How will I learn?
The course will be delivered through a blend of formal lectures, guest lectures, industry visits from partner creative businesses and practical exploration and development of skills.
How will I be assessed?
A variety of assessment methods will be used to enrich the learning experience including; coursework, presentation, reflective logs and journals.
What can I do after this course?
Undertaking this course can lead to a variety of employment opportunities which may include any of the following: freelance work, creative arts management, event management or talent management. There are a number of progression opportunities to degree level courses in the creative industries at the University of Gloucestershire.

This FdA in Creative Enterprise costs £7500.

Where will I need to go on my first day?On your first day, please report to the Reception in the Roper Building at City Centre Campus.
