Electrical Installation Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship

Course Overview

This Advanced Level 3 Apprenticeship in Electrical Installation is aimed at those wanting to qualify and work in the field of electrical installation (industrial, commercial and domestic environments). As an Advanced Apprentice your duties will involve working and gaining experience on various types of equipment (eg lighting, power, control systems, electrical plant) along with the inspection and testing of installations as well as diagnosing and rectifying faults on wiring systems and equipment.

What qualifications will I gain?

  • Installing Electrotechnical Systems & Equipment – Level 3 NVQ Diploma
  • Functional Skills in English – Level 2
  • Functional Skills in Maths – Level 2
  • Functional Skills in ICT – Level 2

How will I be assessed?

Assessment in the workplace plus College day release with exams.

What can I do after this course?

Supervisory role, inspection and testing, design and build of electrical installations.

The course duration is 48 months.
