The English Language School provides the ideal opportunity to improve your English Language skills in the World Heritage City of Bath. You will attend classes for 15 hours per week of General English in the mornings. In the afternoons you have the opportunity of continuing to develop your language with special reference to preparation for English for academic use.

- 15 or 23 hours of tuition per week

- Minimum period: 1 week
- Induction on first day, with placement test

What qualifications will I gain?
You will receive College certificate.
How will I learn?
You will take a placement test on the first day and be assigned to a class at your level. You will study General English in the mornings to improve your knowledge of grammar, vocabulary and the four key skills, with special emphasis on communication. During the afternoons, if you have classes, you will be able to work on subjects such as report and essay writing, note-taking, presentation skills and specialist vocabulary.
Are there any additional costs?
There is a wide range of exciting and interesting activities that can be arranged and costed on request. Trips could include a visit to Stonehenge, Oxford, Bristol or Cardiff.
What are the leisure and cultural activities?
During the week there is a programme of social activities which includes sports and cultural visits.
