Photography – Darkroom Processes (CPD) – 2 Day Workshop
These courses are designed for art and design, photography and media teachers or for anyone interested in taking traditional photographic processes into a learning environment. You will be guided through technical information, be provided with handouts to help you record the processes and be given tips on how to deliver back in the classroom. Some processes will be appropriate for school classroom activities, whilst others will introduce you to the specialist equipment available in the college photographic darkroom and studios.

What topics are covered?
Cameraless photography techniques using objects in the enlarger; Using a pinhole camera; Photograms; Alternative techniques; Processing black and white 35mm films and printing your own images.
How will I learn?
During the intensive short course, you will be given different tasks based on various photography technique demonstrations.

What do I need to bring?
Students may bring their own black and white negatives to print, but this is not a requirement of the course. All materials will be supplied.
