The Drawing Course

The Drawing Course will challenge your preconceptions about drawing as you experiment with mark-making and process; you will also be taught the formal elements of drawing through a variety of subject matter including life drawing. We would recommend this drawing course for anyone wishing to further develop themselves as an artist. The drawing course is also suitable for students developing portfolios for A-level and entry onto our full time Art and Design courses. Drawing is a fundamental tool for any aspiring artist or designer. In order to communicate ideas, artists need to develop a visual language. Drawing development is the key to unlocking creative responses in all aspects of Art and Design.

  5. 5 out of 5

An absolute adventure in drawing and mark making using a wide variety of implements and drawing mediums. I was nervous thinking this might be a bit above my skill level as a beginner. The tutor builds on each lesson, inspiring, building confidence and skills in an ingenious way. If like me you wondering if you can draw and if this is the course for you. I wholeheartedly encourage you to jump in. You really will not regret it. A friendly and supportive atmosphere, a suitable place to begin or for more advanced students to expand skills.
