This course will provide you with training to enable you to teach English as a Foreign Language anywhere in the world or to those who have English as a second language in the UK. The CELTA is widely recognised and is a level 5 qualification on the QCF (Qualifications and Credit Framework). You do not need to have any previous teaching experience.

Please note: Due to the COVID 19 situation, we regret that, at the moment, we will not be able to take any new CELTA trainees for September 2020. However, we hope to run our next part-time CELTA course from January 2021. We hope to be able to confirm the course dates nearer the time. Please note, places on the CELTA course are conditional on a successful interview and micro teach. Funding for the course may be available; please contact email@example.com to find out more. Who is the course aimed at?
This course is aimed at anyone interested in teaching English for Speakers of Other Languages either in the UK or abroad.
What are the entry requirements?
You need to be 20 years old or over, have a standard of education equivalent to that required for entry into higher education and an English level of C2 on the CFR.
If you do not have formal educational qualifications at the level indicated above or are aged between 18 and 20, we may still accept you if you can demonstrate that you would be likely to complete the course successfully.
You will need to successfully complete a language awareness task and an interview to be accepted on the course.

Decisions regarding running or cancelling a course are made one week prior to the start of the course. If a course is cancelled, you will be informed and your course fees refunded in full.
