This course will provide you with training to enable you to teach English as a Foreign Language anywhere in the world or to those who have English as a second language in the UK. The CELTA is widely recognised and is a level 5 qualification on the QCF (Qualifications and Credit Framework). You do not need to have any previous teaching experience.
Please note: We will be running our next part-time CELTA course from January 2021. The intensive course will be running from 07/06/2021 to 02/07/2021. Places on the CELTA course are conditional on a successful interview. Funding for the course may be available; please contact email@example.com to find out more. However, it is possible that the current fees will be reviewed for 2021.
Who is the course aimed at?
This course is aimed at anyone interested in teaching English for Speakers of Other Languages either in the UK or abroad.
What are the entry requirements?
You need to be over 20 years old, have a standard of education equivalent to that required for entry into higher education and an English level of C2 on the CFR.
If you do not have formal educational qualifications at the level indicated above or are aged between 18 and 20, we may still accept you if you can demonstrate that you would be likely to complete the course successfully.
You will need to successfully complete a language awareness task and an interview to be accepted on the course.

Decisions regarding running or cancelling a course are made one week prior to the start of the course. If a course is cancelled, you will be informed and your course fees refunded in full.
