The course has a good structure, pace and content. It is suitable for complete beginners. Lisa has a great way of explaining everything and makes the lessons fun and enjoyable. Every week is recapped at the start of the following lesson, which is great. I’ve joined for the part 2.

The course was progressive and challenging. The tutor used a variety of techniques to make various points, to keep us on our toes and to demonstrate the language in different ways. The sessions were full and good value for money.
The tutor was also generous with her preparatory work with lesson plans and other material being made available to any absentees.
I would strongly recommend this course to anybody considering taking up French.

It’s just about the right speed.
The tutor Stephanie has a very nice approach to the task, making it easy to learn.
      She is very personable.

I was unable to attend a number of the sessions due to illness and work commitments. To begin with I thought the progress was very slow but this speeded up considerably as the group became smaller and those left were more committed and eager to learn. The teacher was excellent – teaching with great energy and skill, always taking time to explain and being very good at encouraging / driving us forward.

I absolutely loved this course, mainly because of the tutor Stephanie Fleet, she is an excellent teacher and made the course fun, i looked forward to her class every friday at 1.30 and was very disappointed i couldnt finish it due to pressures at work leading uo to Christmas.

I hated French at School (and it was 50 years ago!) but now spend lots of time in France and want to be better at communicating. I signed for the beginners class which turned out to be perfect for me. In the 9 weeks we covered good ground and I feel much more confident and understanding of the language already.
The teacher is brilliant, warm and friendly and makes it fun. It was a good little group as well.
I’d like to do the level 2 but sadly can’t fit it in. So I hope this becomes available in the autumn.

Having done French at A Level and absolutely loving it, I was very keen to relearn the beautiful language.

I considered taking the Level 2 course instead, but I am so glad I didn’t! I had forgotten almost everything I had ever learnt.

Our tutor is such a warm and approachable lady. She makes each lesson simple, fun and interesting. There is a great mix of people attending the evening class too, which makes it a great environment to learn in.

I will definitely be signing up for Level 2 at this rate!
