Course Overview

This course explores the representation of the human form, working from the life model. Study is based on observation using short and long poses. Sessions provide opportunities for experimentation and the development of various drawing skills. Students of all levels of ability are welcome and are fully supported in building a portfolio.

Understanding proportion; Drawing techniques and approaches; Development of observational awareness; Developing and understanding of shape and form; Materials and their uses ? charcoal, ink, graphite, pastels.
