Counselling Skills Level 4 Diploma
This level 4 counselling course follows on from our Level 3 Certificate in Counselling, enabling learners to develop their skills in Counselling and become a skilled counselling practitioner.
What topics are covered?
This course will cover a range of interesting topics including embarking on practice, cognitive behaviour therapy and integrating theory and practice.
What are the entry requirements?
You will have already studied and achieved a good grounding in counselling skills and counselling theory, and have acquired a good understanding of ethical practice and hold a Level 3 qualification in Counselling.
What qualifications will I gain?
You will gain a Level 4 Diploma in Counselling Practice.

How will I learn?
A range of teaching, learning and assessment resources will be used to meet your individual needs. You will be required to undertake at least 100 hours or work experience placement during the course
How will I be assessed?
You will be assessed through written journals, practical exam and a short external exam.

Where will I need to go on my first day?On your first day, please report to the Reception in the Roper Building at City Centre Campus.
What else do I need to know?To avoid disappointment, please make sure you apply for your chosen course early. Decisions regarding running or cancelling a course are made one week prior to the start of the course. If a course is cancelled, you will be informed and your course fees refunded in full.
