Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools Level 2 Intermediate Apprenticeship
Course Overview
As an apprentice, you’ll work under the close supervision of a class teacher. Your duties will vary depending on how the teachers you work with plan their lessons and handle day-to-day classroom activities – however, you could find yourself supervising arts and crafts activities, helping with outings, or reading to the class.

- Level 2 NVQ Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
- Functional Skills in English Level 2
- Functional Skills in Maths Level 2
- Functional skills in ICT Level 1
What are the entry requirements?
There are no specific entry requirements for this course, although maths and English GCSEs at C or above are desirable.
How will I be assessed?
Assessment in the workplace with some college day release plus exams.
What can I do after this course?
Successful learners could progress to an Advanced Apprenticeship.
