Enrolment week saw over 2200 students come through the City Centre doors to enrol on courses across both campuses.

New students were excited by the holiday theme of this year’s enrolments and swapped their boarding cards for a passport before meeting their new course tutors.

There was a mixture of excited and nervous faces (students and parents!) coming in but all looked happy as they left with their goody bags.

Amanda Jennings, whose son Thomas came to enrol was delighted with the experience: “What a wonderful atmosphere in the Bath College today. My son and I were made to feel very welcome from the second we walked in.

“All the concerns we had, were addressed in the most professional yet caring way. Thank you.”

Students and staff alike got into the holiday theme with flower garlands, giant sunglasses and got on the giant deckchair in Rope Reception to pose for pictures.

Mark Fuller took to Twitter to share his enrolment experience: “Well done @BathCollege – went with my daughter to enrol today and made to feel really welcome.

“Special thanks to Health & Social Care staff for their time yesterday to reassure her (and Dad)! All looking forward to a new start now.”

From all the staff at Bath College, a very warm welcome to our new students. We hope you have a wonderful time learning here.
