Institute Of Technology Facilities (Project Ref: IOT 2020)

Expressions of Interest (EOI) are invited from suitably qualified and experienced contractors to undertake refurbishment and fit out works at the Bath College City Centre Campus.

Bath College

 

Contract Description:

The work comprise the reconfiguration and refurbishment of the fourth and fifth floors of the McCauley building in the city centre to create new Institute Of Technology Facilities learning facilities.

 

Contract Value:

The construction work net cost is circa £1m, excluding VAT.

 

Outline Programme:

Tender 14th Sept to 23rd Oct 2020,  Works: 23rd Nov 2020 to 17th March 2021  (dates may be subject to change)

 

Form of Contract:

JCT Design and Build 2016 contract.

 

Procurement Route:

EOI responses will be evaluated to established a tender list of four to five contractors.  Those shortlisted contractors will be invited to participate in a single stage D&B tender competition.

 

EOI Closing Date:

EOIs need to be submitted by 12:00 noon Friday 4th September 2020.

Background:

Bath College welcomes EOIs from suitably qualified and experienced building/fit-out refurbishment contractors who have a track record of working in the FE or wider educational sector.  If you wish to express an interest in participating in this tender competition please email Mary Wisker (mary.wisker@bathcollege.ac.uk) to request an EOI application pack.   EOIs received by the closing deadline will be evaluated and a short list of four to five contractors will be invited to tender.  The EOI stage will require that you complete a PAS 91 questionnaire to demonstrate numerous competencies along with responses to x3 supplementary questions to understand your experience of delivering construction related works within the FE sector.
